Laboratory process equipment
Adsorption process
The unit for continuous column adsorption is
designed for studying the adsorption process. It insures a precise
control and measurement of set parameters, temperature, flow, time
and sampling of defined amounts of products in a set time
frame. The unit is controlled by a process controller through a
corresponding computer interface. The computer program ensures a
complete automatization of equipment and maximal flexibility of
use. The flow is regulated in the range of 0.1-30 ml/min and the
unit is easy to operate and the measurements are iterative and
accurate.
Izomerization and Reforming Unit
The unit is designed for conducting experiments
on a process of continuous isomerization and reforming in
conditions similar to the real process. The device consists of a
hydrogen system, system for drying the raw materials, pump for
dosing the raw material, tube retractor with a cooler of the
retractor outflow, slop container, high pressure separator with a
capability of mounting a low pressure separator. The unit is
equipped with a process controller, very precise measuring and
controlling equipment and an appropriate computer program which
ensures easy operation and control of the process unit. The unit is
equipped for measuring and controlling 16 process variables and
outputs necessary for controlling the solenoid valves, sensor
readings and data aquisition. The pump is controlled over an RS 232
interface.During the process, three meters measure the total amount
of hydrogen and raw material during the duration of the process and
altogether for one type of a catalyst. The interface has a big
diagram which enables simultaneous monitoring of up to 6 variables
per source. It is possible to adjust the refresh time for the
diagram from 15 seconds up to 2 minutes. The interface has an alarm
and a blocking system which in case of deviations alarms and blocks
individual systems within the security requirements and according
to logic plan or the entire unit in case of a breakdown during
operation. The system enables execution of certain calculations
which are read as variables during the process and can also be
shown on the diagram.
